Health & Safety Measures

The health and safety of our students and our staff are of the utmost importance. We have implemented new procedures and guidelines as the COVID-19 crisis has evolved. We continue to monitor the situation closely and follow the direction of the CDC and our local health department. As this is an unprecedented and evolving situation, adjustments to our procedures will be made, as necessary.

Currently, temperatures are taken of everyone prior to entering the school. The CDC recommends that anyone with a temperature of 100.4 or higher remain at home.

We ensure that, upon arrival at our facility, all individuals wash their hands with soap and running water or alcohol based sanitizer.

The most recent guidelines state that groups must stay under 50. We are keeping well below the recommended group size in limiting our classes to 12 students and 1 teacher. Classes/groups are in separate rooms of the facility and do not mix.

We ensure that surfaces and areas that are used and touched often are cleaned and sanitized before a new group uses them and at least daily. We have recently purchased HEPA filtration devices and plan to have them installed in our classrooms prior to the first day of school.

We have implemented a new drive through drop off/pick up procedure to limit the amount of people entering the school. Children enrolled in our program are dropped off and picked up at the facility’s entrance (met and assisted by our staff members). Those dropping off and picking up the children do not enter the facility.
